SUMMARY

1. The survival of skin homografts in rabbits may be prolonged by treatment with ACTH which begins 25–28 days before, and continues after operation.

2. A flocculant zinc chloride preparation was more active, for equal i.u., than a gelatin preparation.

3. It is suggested that the main secretion of the rabbit's adrenal changes from corticosterone to hydrocortisone when ACTH is administered for long periods.
