A method for the determination of urinary pregnanetriol is described which, by utilizing many features of the Fotherby & Love modification (1960) of Stern's method (1957) and by separation of pregnanetriol isomers by spread-layer chromatography of alumina, enables individual pregnanetriols and pregnanediol to be measured concomitantly.
