The distribution of glucose uptake induced in rat hemidiaphragm by insulin in the presence of albumin was tested to examine whether synalbumin-insulin antagonism is distributed as a continuous or trimodal variable. The results are consistent with a trimodal distribution, but further studies are required to confirm or refute this conclusion.
