Corticosteroids and cardiovascular disease; ligands, receptors and tissue metabolism
The Journal of Endocrinology and Journal of Molecular Endocrinology are inviting a collection of articles on corticosteroids and cardiovascular disease, led by Deputy Editor Associate Professor Morag Young (Baker HDI, Australia) and Guest Editor Professor Massimiliano Caprio (San Raffaele Roma University, Italy).
Articles will focus on the intersection between endocrinology and the heart, covering topics including mineralocorticoid receptor actions, corticosteroid metabolism and mechanisms of cardiovascular disease.
