(Panel C) mTORC1 inhibition with rapamycin (rapa, 20 nM, n=4) or siRNA–mTOR (n=3) abolished the testosterone-induced β-MHC and SKA protein expression increase. (Panel D) Densitometric analysis shows the protein expression for the indicated experimental condition. Values are mean±s.e.m. *P<0.05, **P<0.01 compared with the basal value.
